FCCERS-3 In-Depth Webinar

<Back to Trainings

Overview:
ERSI is offering a NEW webinar course on the FCCERS-3. The “FCCERS-3 In-depth” webinar course is perfect for those organizations that have found themselves working from home as a result of COVID-19 and currently not able to go into classrooms or family child care homes to offer face-to-face technical assistance or conduct evaluations. Coaches, educational coordinators, technical assistance specialists, and QRIS evaluators can increase content knowledge of FCCERS-3 requirements through participation in this new course. The FCCERS-3 In-depth course will help FCCERS-3 users to broaden their understanding of the scale requirements and prepare for successful coaching and reliability testing.

Format:
The FCCERS-3 In-depth webinar will be offered in a series of modules providing information and interpretations of all FCCERS-3 indicator requirements. Each module consists of two webinars. Each webinar is two hours and covers two items (*session 2 of Module 8 covers three items). These webinar courses are heavy in content information with rationales for FCCERS-3 requirements. Each indicator will be broken down, explaining terms like “some, many, usually” and describing what the requirements look like in a family child care setting. There will be time set aside for answering questions. You can select what module you want to complete or you can take all modules. A certificate of attendance will be given for all completed modules.

Price:
The FCCERS-3 In-depth Webinar Course costs $425/participant for each module, with each module consisting of two webinars (each webinar is two hours). There is a 5% discount available for groups of 5-9 people registered from the same agency, and a 10% discount for groups of 10 or more people registered from the same agency.

Registration:
Registration and full payment via check or purchase order need to be completed prior to the date of the course. Purchase orders must be replaced with checks a minimum of one week prior to the course date. A confirmation email will be sent when application and payment have been received. Applications can be found below.

Prerequisites:
The FCCERS-3 Scale is a required text for this course and can be purchased from Teacher's College Press or Kaplan Companies.

Prerequisites include some training and/or use of the Environment Rating Scales. It will be helpful if participants have completed some type of introductory training (whether live or online) so they will fully understand the scoring system and format of the FCCERS-3.
